Andrew Rafferty is currently collaborating with the poet Peter Rafferty and presenting both photographic and videographic works that work with Peter's poetry. Neither poetry nor visual imagery are so much interpretations of the other but that there is a close co-existence between the two art forms.
The rush of the stream, blurred in motion as it hastens on its journey from spring to sea, provides a mesmeric effect when reading Peter Rafferty's classic poem Thalweg. The original poem shaped as the mountain's profile is reinterpreted for video presentation.
